Addie 10/11 months

I can't keep up with this kid! She's growing so fast.
Addie's latest goofy face has the entire family giggling.

hehe
Addie is still my rolly polly girl. Literally. She still rolls rolls rolls like a maniac all over the floor. She still isn't crawling, which at times concerns me, if I'm being honest, but she is just content on the floor, and gets everywhere she wants. It works for her, and she still feels so little to me, I love it. Addie you can stay a baby as long as you want!

Her hair! Look familiar? Here is Renne at 10 months:

I love our chia pet haired babies.

"Mom, can we be done now?"

 11 months
Addie weighs 21 pounds 3 oz and is 28.5'' long! She is my juicy peach. So soft and squishy, and fuzzy on top!
She loves to nap, sleeps in the afternoon. She is basically weaned now, and we have officially switched to homo milk except for in the middle of the night. I still cherish this time. I hope she nurses for a bit longer, but I can tell she is almost done with it.
Addie is so funny now and makes hilarious faces. She loves giggling with her sister and they have been playing so cute together lately. She loves Renne but gets a little panicked when she gets too close and lets me know when she needs space. She has a very sensitive side and a super sad cry if you take her toy away or scare her. It breaks your heart every time. She is my little dolly who still loves to be held and loves to cuddle. She eats like a champ and loves cheese, bread, apple sauce and ice cream when she sneaks some! :)

Addie will put herself to sleep places and I frequently find her with her head down just relaxing. The other day my friend who watches the girls for me sometimes said "every mom deserves to experience a baby like Addie". She is just so easy and so good. I sure am lucky.

Squeeeeeeaaal face

Throwing her head back in laughter. Must be my kid.

Love the frog legs pose

I had the exact same tooth gap! I adore this toothy grin.

Joy

"Men are that they may have joy"
I have been blessed beyond measure. I have felt so much joy in my life and have been given much more than I deserve.
We have had an amazing year. Looking back it hasn't always been easy, in fact it's been very trying at times and very busy, but I just can't believe how much I have grown, because of these 2 sweet girls. They have shaped me into a much better person.

They have taught me more than I can comprehend and I am so lucky to call them mine. I am so grateful to know we can be together forever.

Life is messy and hard and exhausting and unfair. It's a terrifying world for a young mother. I have no idea what the future holds or what will happen next year, but I know that when I try to do what's right and my priorities are straight, I feel the most incredible joy and peace, even amidst the chaos of life. I know in those moments that I am not alone, that this role is divine.

Arizona trip!

Oh Arizona!! I now understand all of the hype. I cannot believe how wonderful it is down there! Truly! My mom, my sister Bryanne, my Auntie Shari, my girls and I had the BEST time on our girls trip. We relaxed, tanned, shopped, swam, went on runs, swam some more, ate delicious food, went on adventures, it was everything I could have wanted. We stayed in a huge house with it's own pool and hot tub, and a park across the street! I have to say, it was HEAVEN and the perfect trip to do with your kids. After a week, Tim and my dad came and spent 4 days with us. We made some really treasured memories. I plan to go back as soon as possible. Tomorrow would be great.

Tanning and dirty cokes while the girls nap? Yes please!!

I just can't get enough of this silly billy. We went running together every. single. day. It was amazing! We almost died (not actually) running through the dessert. Gooood times. Watch out for scorpions!

-->We actually found 5 scorpions inside the house and by the pool! One afternoon I heard my mom SCREAM so loud and there was one on her lawn chair just inches from her leg where Addie was sitting. Haha it was actually ridiculous. What a sight we were screaming and chasing the scorpion around and then we finally decided drowning it was the best idea..? Don't ask...Soooo we threw it into the pool and watched it slowly die. With my dad and his nurses on Facetime laughing at us! It took so long! It started to really mess with our heads and some of us could hardly sleep by the end knowing we had seen one in our bedroom just hours before I put the girls down. Anyway, I was happy to say goodbye to those disgusting critters. Luckily no stings this trip though! :)

Soooooooo happy to have Tim join us. What a difference it makes when Daddy is around!! I love this man.

Fun in the pool with Grandma!

Fun at the Dessert Botanical Gardens

I totally expected a super dry dessert, which Phoenix is haha, but it also is so beautiful!! The vegetation was unlike anything I had ever seen and was breathtaking. I loved exploring.

My cute mom

I think i'm being a rabbit or something. Will I ever stop embarrassing myself?

My chub-a-lub just chilling.

We are huge fans of Nike Frees I guess.

My busy sweet girlie

We decided super last minute to go see the Cardinals play. It was crazy hectic parking and getting in (we found out they won't allow anything but clear bags inside and Tim had to run the diaper bag back to the van 2 km away! I felt so bad. Once we were in our seats it was a total blast! I have never been to an NFL game before!

Addie was a trooper until the very end when it got too loud for her little ears. The noise was unreal!

I was super worried Renne would be done after 20 minutes, but she loved every minute. She sat on Tim's lap just gazing and taking it all in. She loved to follow the mascot running around and I think the noise completely shocked her to the point of speechlessness (which is seriously rare for this one) She talked about the football game and the "red bird" for weeks afterward.

Nothing like a wonderful family getaway! (And some sun!)
Thanks for the party Phoenix. Hope we can do this again soon!

Paw Patrol Halloween!!

This year for Halloween, Renne wanted to dress up as "Skye" from Paw Patrol. She was dead set on it and I just couldn't say no when she saw the costume at the store. I thought it would be fun to do a family theme, so we all jumped in on it and were a few of the other characters from Renne's favourite show.

Addie was "Chickaletta", the mayor's pet purse chicken. Tim and I hot glued that boa onto a one-sie and it was hilarious. She shed feathers every where she went.

I was Mayor Goodway (shes hispanic, hence the face paint) and Tim was Ryder who is the (human) leader of all the pups. Yes, Tim made his vest. It was perfect! I totally have a crafty husband. (Shh, he doesn't like people to know!)

We had a really fun pizza party at the Duce's house with some friends. Halloween is so much more fun with friends!

Addie just content on the couch. All wrapped in feathers.

Cutest little buddies loving every minute

Wasn't hard to get her to smile!

Happy Halloween!
